#1 Start your working day an hour earlier if you’re not used to early starts. You’ll notice the benefits of getting a head start on your work without anyone to disrupt you, especially if you have clients to report to.

#2 The humble list is still one of the most effective productivity tools available. Make a to-do list of your key goals for the week ahead, and prioritize them in order of importance.

#3 Working non-stop doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll get more done. Instead, try to work shorter periods of focused activity interspersed with regular breaks. Your brain will be more motivated to return to work if there’s something you’re dying to finish.

#4 Focus on specific times of the day when you are at your peak energy, and work around them. If you need to, consider switching the notifications settings on your phone from push to pull to avoid the distraction of notifications popping up.
