The Good Samaritan

Rob MacLaine, CEO of Harper MacLaine Security and ex-Special Forces operative, is preparing to take part in a demonstration of a game-changing military weapon.

Merging the technologies of laser guidance, smart bullets and drones, the invention is something never before seen in the field of battle. But after Rob foils an attempt to kidnap a senator, a series of events is set in motion that takes him deep into the dark world of people-trafficking and crime.

Racing against time through Hamburg, Germany and back into the UK, the trail leads Rob and his team ever closer to the dangerous criminals and their cargo. To cut the head off the serpent and stop the criminal organization in their tracks, the team must act quickly. But are they already too late?

A riveting thriller set in the world of military technology and international crime, The Good Samaritan is the second book in Les Haswell's Rob MacLaine series.
