The Intermediate Sex

This vintage book contains Edward Carpenter's treatise on homosexuality. Within this treatise, Carpenter expresses his views on homosexuality, or 'uranianism' as he calls it. He explains how he believes that its ostensible increase marks a new age of sexual liberation. This seminal text will appeal to those with an interest homosexuality and how it was viewed in the past, and would make for a worthy addition to collections of related literature. Many vintage books such as this are becoming increasingly hard-to-come-by and expensive, and it is with this in mind that we are republishing this volume now in an affordable, modern edition. It comes complete with a specially commissioned biography of the author.
