The last Cathar

Cursed are they always and everywhere

Cursed are they day and night and every hour

Cursed are they when they sleep and when they wake

Cursed are they when they eat and when they drink

Cursed are they when they speak and when they are silent

Thus rang out the black curse of Pope Innocent III from every pulpit in Europe against the Cathars.

Shortly before he launched a crusade to exterminate them to the last man, woman and child.

The controversial Cathar priest Guillaume Bélibaste is the last guardian of a thousand-year-old secret.

The spiritual key that can free humanity from the cruel grip of the dark force that holds it captive.

Spies of the Inquisition shy away from neither betrayal nor violence to see him burned at the stake.

Who are his friends, and who are his enemies?

Can he maintain his dignity under all the pressure?

And above all: Will Bélibaste manage to keep his freedom in order to pass on the mystery of the Cathars to future generations?

Will pure light triumph over the black curse?
