Tea witch Lian Ju Feng has always felt second best to her weather witch cousins. When they decide to move to Purple Oak, Lian has no choice but to go with them as their healer and their attendant.

As they settle in their new temporary home, Lian tries to stick to her familiar routines but it’s not so easy to have quiet breakfasts when she has to share a kitchen with their new cook, the bubbly and upbeat Pepper who believes anything can be solved with pastries and good food.
