Yankee in the wind

HE'S HUNTING A KILLER. SHE'S THE ONLY CLUE HE HAS LEFT.

Jack "Yankee" Porter is a man defined by loyalty. As a former operative of the elite, top-secret Stargate Program, he won't rest until he finds out who murdered one of his own. But the trail leads him straight to a woman who is as dangerous to his mission as she is to his heart.

Lilly Davis doesn't believe her cousin's death was an accident. She's digging for the truth, unaware that she's stepped into a web of CIA secrets and high-level betrayal. When a rugged, stone-faced stranger named Yankee appears, she doesn't know if he's her guardian angel or the man sent to finish the job.

As Yankee and Lilly follow a trail of breadcrumbs across the country, they realize they aren't just being hunted—they're being herded. A mysterious figure known only as Mr. Smith doesn't just want the Stargate agents dead. He has a far more nefarious purpose for their "gifts," and he's ready to tear the world apart to harness them.

Forced into a desperate alliance, Yankee must protect Lilly from an enemy he can't see coming. But in a game where agents are pawns and psychic gifts are the ultimate prize, the price of the truth might be their lives.

If you love protective heroes, high-stakes conspiracies, and "second chance" romantic suspense, Yankee's story is a must-read.

About the series

Gifted with precognitive skills and trained by the CIA in a top-secret program that not even the top brass of the agency was aware of, the Stargate agents were once the nation's most powerful secret asset. Betrayed by unknown enemies, unable to trust anyone—not even one another—the Stargate Agents hold the key to unmasking a conspiracy steeped in greed, power and revenge. To survive, they'll have to solve what lies behind the recurring premonitions they experience, and stop an impending disaster.
