There it was, hanging in the sky above the school: the blazing green skull with a serpent tongue, the mark Death Eaters left behind whenever they had entered a building... wherever they had murdered...

When Dumbledore arrives at Privet Drive one summer night to collect Harry Potter, his wand hand is blackened and shrivelled, but he does not reveal why. Secrets and suspicion are spreading through the wizarding world, and Hogwarts itself is not safe. Harry is convinced that Malfoy bears the Dark Mark: there is a Death Eater amongst them. Harry will need powerful magic and true friends as he explores Voldemort's darkest secrets, and Dumbledore prepares him to face his destiny...

I never thought how hard AND funny this book would be, ‘cause Ron made me laugh too much tbh, it was very enjoyable even for the horrible moment that we already are, but the last half and hour made me stop for a bit, it was a lot to digest. This part also lead me to one of the things I tolerate less: a good and strong person being vulnerable and agonizing for pain until it seems to die, not gonna say who even if everyone knows but that part really makes me cry like a helpless child, I hate hearing people experiencing the worst, listen them dying and know it bc of the sound they do and the audiobook helped in that… it’s horrible, but I’m also a little bit masochist I guess. I also loved to see a desperate Snape, I think this is the first time I heard him more human, more real, and I really enjoy to suffer with that, with him, with everyone. I’m really impressed for the food intuition that Harry has, he’s always half right half wrong but idk if that hereditary or smth.
