Tja, t boek zou beter zijn geweest als Feyre gewoon even na zou denken

super gave serie!! groot fan! maar uiteindelijk alles gelezen...voorleesstem is verschrikkelijk, zo zonde.

Op zich is het verhaal best leuk maar het is zoveel gezwijmel tussendoor. En haar eindeloos domme keuzes gingen me op een gegeven moment wel tegen staan. Maar op 2/3e van het boek ging het verhaal weer lopen en was het best prima.Ik vind het wel supergoed voorgelezen. Het is echt acteren in plaats van voorlezen en ze heeft steeds de juiste toon te pakken.Het is niet mijn type boek, maar het is ook niet slecht...

Deze serie vind ik echt geweldig, alleen na 2 hoofdstukken getopt met het luisteren van dit boek. Verschikkelijke stem en niets voor mij.

Can't tell you how much I love this series. I love the dramatized version way better tho. It's not that often that I'm hooked in the first chapter, but this series is full of surprises and keeps you on the edge of your seat. must say I like the first 3 books the best. If you like action fantasy and romance, this is the one for you. Spice level 🌶🌶 🌶

It was alright. I know the story of Tam-Lin but I feel like this book had more crossover with the beauty and the beast. The characters didn't have as much dept as the Internet hype made me believe.

Echt een prachtig boek.

This was the most cringey shit I've read since Twilight. I fully picked it up thinking it was a fantasy book and was real fucking done with the awkward teen cringe courtship and romance without much of a plot. She saves it a bit towards the end but not while piling on some more cringe. Female lead but not very feminist tropes have me questioning the point of writing this book. I cringed so hard, laughed a lot at the ridiculous situations, shouted a few times that feyre was very dumb, and also I finished it in two days and I will be reading the sequel, to my very own dismay. I do like the writing style and the narration quite a bit. Basically less feminist than you expect, less about fantasy and the world building than I expected and very much soft-porn (that doesn't get to the actual doing shit for a really fucking long time, my god). Tip: at some point it gets really fun counting how many times she says "muscles" in the beginning and **spoiler** "my ____ lord" at the end.

Goed boek. Voorlezer minder.
