ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK
"Shadow's Edge" by Brent Weeks continues the story of Kylar, who is grappling with his past as a wetboy and his desire for a peaceful existence. He is forced to confront the looming threat of the Godking while trying to embrace his destiny as the Night Angel.
Amidst this struggle, Kylar learns about the Society of the Second Dawn and his connection to Durzo Blint, and also that Logan Gyre might still be alive.
Meanwhile, Logan inspires his troops, and Vi is wrestling with her past actions and divided loyalties. The book explores themes of sacrifice, destiny, and the fight against overwhelming odds. It delves into the nature of power and its corrupting influence, as exemplified by the Godking's desire for immortality and control.
