Its a no no for me. 2 disfunctional MC who cannot communicate till the last 1,5 hour of the book. Heroine that is not able to say one sentence with confidence to the hero. Most of the book is describing thoughts of the heroine, very little dialogue. Trully it was hard to like either of the MC

I really enjoyed it overall, it had me in the first half not gonna lie BUT it is not a cute fluff piece with some spice, it's a dark, oftentimes toxic romance with both MC needing serious therapy instead of relationship and they start communicating in the last 1/4 of the book. Plot is 5/5, Characters 4/5(FL is a bit 'not like other girls' and ML barely makes a full sentence) Spice 4/5, Emotional abuse 3.5/5

Honestly, I loved every part of it. I don’t find the characters disfunctional, I’d say they’re just humans with human emotions, that are totally both justifiable and relatable. I don’t often relate to the heroines, but I do really relate to Brooke’s approach, character and drive. I think many females are scared of a heartbreak and try to put their guard up. This book’s totally on my favorite list 🥹👌🏼
