Bolt, Nut and Rivet Forging

This vintage book contains a complete guide to forging bolts, nuts, and rivets with bolt heading machines, continuous-motion bolt and rivet headers, and nut forging machines. This volume will appeal to those with an interest in the development of industrial metalworking techniques and would make for a fantastic addition to collections of allied literature. Contents include: "Bolt Heading Machines", "Types of Machines", "Operation of Plain Bolt and Rivet Machines", "Successive Steps in Heading Bolts", "Types of Bolt Header Dies", "Construction of National Wedge-Grip Bolt and Rive Header", "Hammer Type of Bolt Header", "Stock Required for Bolt Heads", "Continuous-motion Bolt and Rivet Header with Automatic Feed", et cetera. Many vintage books such as this are increasingly scarce and expensive. We are republishing this volume now in an affordable, modern edition complete with a specially commissioned new introduction on metal work. First published in 1914.
