Kidnapped is a historical adventure novel by Robert Louis Stevenson that follows the journey of young David Balfour in 18th-century Scotland. After being betrayed by his uncle and sold into slavery aboard a ship, David escapes and embarks on a thrilling trek across the Scottish Highlands. Along the way, he meets the charismatic rebel Alan Breck, and the two form an unlikely alliance in a land torn by political unrest.

Blending action, intrigue, and vivid historical detail, Kidnapped is a coming-of-age story filled with danger, loyalty, and resilience. Stevenson brings the Scottish landscape and its turbulent history to life in a tale that has captivated readers for generations.
