Ship Modelling Hints and Tips

This vintage book is a complete guide to building model historical boats, with information on tools and equipment, complete directions for assembly, practical tips and hints, and more. Profusely illustrated and highly accessible, this volume is ideal for those with little previous experience, and would make for a fantastic addition to collections of allied literature. Contents include: “The Fascination of Modelling Ships”, “There are so many from which to choose”, “The Ship of your choice”, “Different kinds & types of Models”, “Various Methods of making the hull”, “Woods and other materials”, “Making the Different ropes”, “What the early guns looked like”, etc. Many vintage books such as this are becoming increasingly scarce and expensive. We are republishing this volume now in an affordable, high-quality edition complete with a specially commissioned new introduction on model building.
