Don’t miss AJ Finn’s eagerly anticipated new thriller, END OF STORY!
“As the plot seizes us, the prose caresses us. . . [Finn] has not only captured, sympathetically, the interior life of a depressed person, but also written a riveting thriller that will keep you guessing to the very last sentence.” — Washington Post
The #1 bestseller that gripped the world, selling millions of copies around the globe – a tour-de-force Hitchcockian thriller about an agoraphobic woman who believes she witnessed a crime in a neighboring house.
It isn’t paranoia if it’s really happening . . .
Anna Fox lives alone—a recluse in her New York City home, unable to venture outside. She spends her day drinking wine (maybe too much), watching old movies, recalling happier times . . . and spying on her neighbors.
Then the Russells move into the house across the way: a father, mother, their teenaged son. The perfect family. But when Anna, gazing out her window one night, sees something she shouldn’t, her world begins to crumble and its shocking secrets are laid bare.
What is real? What is imagined? Who is in danger? Who is in control? In this diabolically gripping thriller, no one—and nothing—is what it seems.
Twisty and powerful, ingenious and moving, The Woman in the Window is a smart, sophisticated novel of psychological suspense that recalls the best of Hitchcock.

Fantastiskt välskriven och spännande. Huvudkaraktären är mycket sympatisk och man får uppleva historien tillsammans med henne utan att författaren kliver in och förklarar en massa o ödiga saker.

Sucked me in and kept me engaged, chapter after chapter. Can't believe this is the author's first novel, it's so well written!

I liked the pacing & the element of psychology in this novel. The one thing that got me to continue listening is the suspense it was created by the climax. But also the main characters development. Loved it!

Väldigt mycket bättre än Netflix serien. Serien gör inte boken rätta.

Precise rating: 3.5 ⭐I’ve read this book in Swedish, which is not my native language, so I can’t really say a lot about the writing style. But the fact that I’ve read this book in just a little more than two weeks in a language I’m not even fluid in and enjoyed it massively speaks for itself.I’m a little bit unsure about the ending, though. I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it either. 🤔

Började bra men för mycket kvasipsykologi gjorde boken långtråkig. Obehagligt, ospännande slräckfilmsslut. Besviken!
