كتاب في التاريخ ألفه عبد الواحد المراكشي استجابةً لطلب أحد الأعيان الرؤساء، الذي سأله إملاء أوراق تشتمل على بعض تاريخ المغرب العربي موطنه وبلده ووصف في الكتاب بلاد الأندلس وذكر فتحها واخبار ولاتها وخلافاتهم وذكر ملزك الطوائف وتناحرهم واستغلال الإسبان و الفرنج لهذه الأحداث إلى حدود سنة ، ولقد زين المراكشي كتابه بذكر الشعراء وشيئا من اشعارهم مع ذكر القضاة والحجاب والوزراء في العهد دولة الموحدين و دولة المرابطين.
