Description： 本書是熊佛西創作的戲劇選集，收錄了《上海灘的春天》《一片愛國心》等劇本。《上海灘的春天》講述了民族資本家王子明，在解放前夕猶豫是否要離開上海，赴臺或赴港，最終在對上海和自己一手創辦的企業的不舍，以及子女的勸說下留在了上海；解放後他在政府扶持下，克服困難、發展生產使工廠獲得了新生，但仍對社會主義改造有顧慮、有抵觸，後通過兒子參軍和"五反"運動受到教育，主動申請公私合營，投入工商業社會主義改造的覺醒故事。 Author Biography： 熊佛西，原名福禧，筆名戲子，戲劇教育家、劇作家。他與歐陽予倩、田漢、洪深一同被視為中國現代戲劇運動的拓荒者和奠基人，並於2007年入選中國話劇百年名人堂。自1926年留美歸國後，近40年的戲劇教育人生裏，他的足跡遍佈全國各地：在北京主持藝專戲劇系，在河北定縣開展農民戲劇活動，在四川辦校培育抗戰的"戲劇鐵軍"，新中國成立後任上海戲劇學院首任院長等，為中國戲劇事業做出了卓越貢獻。戲劇代表作《青春的悲哀》《王三》《上海灘的春天等。
