内容简介： 汉语的"修辞格"和英语的figures of speech，都是指一些非常规的、形象化的表达方式，即所谓的修辞手段。修辞格的问题涉及语言的表达，是修辞学中的一个重要组成部分。本书试图借助语言学研究的最新成果，尤其社会语言学、文化语言学、心理语言学、认知语言学、语用学和语义学等方面的研究成果，从语言与文化两个视角切入，采用交叉论述方式，对英语和汉语的修辞格进行一次比较深入细致的剖析和对比研究。本书分为四个部分：一、基本对应的英、汉修辞格；二、局部对应的英、汉修辞格；三、英语中特有的修辞格；四、汉语中特有的修辞格。 作者简介： 李国南，教授，长期从事英语修辞学、文体学及英汉对比修辞学的教学与研究工作。著有《英汉修辞格对比研究》《辞格与词汇》等，参编《大学修辞学》等教材，负责中国社科院主持编纂的《语言学名词》"修辞学"部分的术语英译，在国内外发表学术论文80余篇。
