作者简介：
张东明 1956 年生于上海。1972 年初中毕业后到安徽庐江农村插队，历经六年，期间当过农民、民办教师，还担任过大队支书和公社干部。1978 年考入安徽大学中文系，毕业后到安徽省委宣传部工作。2006 年调至安徽省社会科学院，曾任纪检组长、副院长。他长期从事机关文字工作，主编《今日安徽》杂志。
