An Unexpected Friend

Back in the days when television was black and white and there were only three channels to watch, the great outdoors were all the playing field a kid needed. Ingenuity was the engine of entertainment.

Bobby had a great imagination but he was a lonely nine-year-old-kid who needed friends. He was the shortest kid in the neighbourhood who loved to play baseball at the local sandlot. But because of his diminutive size, he was seldom picked to be on anyone's team.

Today however a surprise awaited him! Not only did he get asked to play but he also discovered a best friend in the most unlikely place...a friend who would forever change his life!
