At the Elves’ Workshop

It’s December 1st and the most exciting Christmas countdown has begun! George and Matilda are visiting Granny for a festive treat of hot chocolate and marshmallows – a favourite family tradition under the twinkling Christmas Tree when they open the first door on their Advent Calendar. But things don’t quite go according to plan … just as they snuggle on the sofa together under a cosy blanket with a slice of warm gingerbread each, a great big whooshing sound comes out of the fireplace and the air is suddenly filled with funny-looking envelopes, magical sparkles and a delicious smell of cinnamon!
