About the Book

Big Blue Bubble Buggy is a story written by the whimsical and creative mind of Thomas D. Brucker. The story is based upon a surreal animated dream he had. He wrote the story on December 23,2001 for his Son Bryce and Daughter Brianna. Since then, the weight of time has altered their lives, relationships, and the world around them. Despite the weight of this change, the care and adoration that spawned the Big Blue Bubble Buggy has only blossomed and evolved further.

With Bryce and Brianna well into adulthood, and their parents raising their next child, (a Golden Retriever named "Sister"), the portrait of their family looks undoubtedly different from the one displayed in Big Blue Bubble Buggy. Despite their changing lives, the same sunshine that permeates the pages of this story continues to surround their family today.

The love which he is so fortunate to share with his family is never taken for granted. It is this same love that reminds Thomas to bask in the sun when it's there and be patient when it is not. He looks at Big Blue Bubble Buggy as a celebration of his family, written by a proud and eager father. Thomas feels truly honored to shape his clever and compassionate words from that colorful dream of adventure onto the pages which follow.

About the Author

Thomas D. Brucker was born in Pittsburgh back in 1967. He spent his youth between Clearwater Beach Florida where he gained a love for sun rays, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he would stay to become an extraordinary family man, and a rockstar in his own right.

Thomas attended Edinboro University, where he met his wife, Brenda, an aspiring teacher from St. Marys, Pennsylvania with a gorgeous smile and a boatload of charisma.

The rest they say, was history.

Thomas and Brenda moved to Virginia Beach. Young and in love, they lounged in the sun with their firstborn daughter, Brianna. A few years later, they would return to Pennsylvania where their son Bryce was born.

Thomas owns a custom home contracting business and enjoys traveling, fishing, hiking, live music, riding motorcycles, an occasional skydive, and above all, spending quality time with family.
