Broken CEO

She told her boss she would do anything for the money. He drew up a contract and asked her to start by leaving her bra on his desk.

Abby Armstrong is twenty, orphaned, and raising a fourteen year old sister on temp wages in the most expensive city in the country. The eviction notice goes up on the door. So she walks into the office of the one man who can fix it and says the words out loud.

Zane Dawes runs the oldest division of a family empire his grandfather built to launder money. He has never touched an employee. He has also not stopped thinking about the girl at the desk outside his door since the day she started, and he brings her a latte every single morning.

His answer is a permanent job, a salary that changes her life, a condo with her name on the deed, and a contract that spells out exactly what she owes him for it. Every item on the list is negotiable. None of it accounts for the fact that she has loved him for weeks, or that she has never been with anyone at all.

She signs believing a man like Zane could never love her back. He agrees believing love is the one thing that would cost him his power.

They are both wrong, and the contract turns out to be the least honest thing between them.

Tropes: billionaire CEO boss, boss and assistant, contract romance, age gap of ten years, virgin heroine, orphan raising her sister, he falls first, jealous ex, live in, no cheating, HEA guaranteed.

Book two of the Broken Brothers. Short, steamy, complete.
