Frost Vow

This audiobook is narrated by an AI Voice. When the sea freezes overnight, Syrka Veld knows the old prophecy has begun.

Seven years after exile, the disgraced ice-seer returns to Hrafnvik and finds the northern coast trapped beneath an unnatural winter. Ships are imprisoned in the ice, royal soldiers seal the roads, and rumors spread that the ancient glacier called Skeld’s Crown is waking.

Syrka once warned that the Crown would rise and swallow a settlement beneath a white storm. No one believed her. Now she must confront the truth she was exiled for speaking.

With the kingdom closing in, Syrka joins forces with Rauk, a hardened warrior; Ilyr, a woman searching for her lost brother; Kjarn, a crownless prince carrying a dangerous secret; and Vask, a blind seer who remembers paths that no longer exist. Their journey leads through the Hollow Pines, the Ashen Fjords, and the Bone Archive, toward a buried kingdom beneath the glacier.

There they discover that Skeld’s Crown is more than a frozen mountain. Beneath it lies an ancient covenant built from stolen memories, forgotten names, and sacrifices made to an entity known as Orvund, the God Below.

To break the covenant, Syrka must decide what a vow is worth when keeping it means condemning the living—and breaking it may release something that has waited beneath the ice for centuries.

Frost Vow is a dark epic fantasy of frozen kingdoms, ancient magic, buried memories, and the cost of choosing freedom over obedience.
