Granting Holy Access

God has given us access to His presence and His

holiness, but He will not force us to use it. Too

often, we are lukewarm in our recognition of God’s

presence, and we dutifully treat relationship with

Him as an obligation, rather than a priority. Because

God is continuously committed to us, even when

we struggle to be committed to Him, He provides

specific instructions in the Bible to help us move past

casually acknowledging His presence, to knowing

the fullness of His presence. These are not laws

He commands us to obey; they are God’s counsel

regarding how we can protect and pursue deeper

relationship with Him.
