I’ve had a long-standing dream to open my own cupcake shop, complete with pink and blue sprinkles for kids and boozy infused cupcakes for adults. When a building came available with the perfect storefront in Hutton Hill, right near the University, I jumped on it. Little did I know that Rocco Capra, owner of Unholy Cannoli, also wanted that storefront to expand his business. His shop is right next door. Can I help it if I got there first?

Okay, the truth is, his mom, who likes to play matchmaker, may have had something to do with my ability to secure the building of my dreams. And yes, I’ll admit that I’m attracted to Rocco, like super attracted, but as a single mother, my business has to come first.

Now, not only is Rocco angry that I put an end to his expansion idea, but no way can he admit that he’s falling for the one woman his mom has decided is his perfect match.

The thing is, I’ve invested everything I have into my cupcake shop. I’ve got to make it work… for my young daughter’s sake.
