Aranka Reeuwijk has given us a bit of everything we need to know in one place, resulting from her own personal struggles on the journey and shared with humbled learning and relevant artwork which, without question, reflect the symbolic language of womb twin grief memories throughout her life. The very existence of this story can be used as reassuring testimony to, and a similar articulation for, the countless unspoken Womb Twin stories which haven’t surfaced due to the uncertainty of this under-considered condition and how to manage it. When WTS have tools for navigation, they learn better self-compassion and gain much-needed resilience for healing.
