Enjoy the escapades of some real cool cats who know how to entertain in this New Orleans-set storybook with "vibrant paintings [and] songlike text" (Mississippi Magazine).

Meet Broussard, Tijohn, Tyrone, Louise, Willard, and Old Grandpa Kitty, and follow this feline jazz combo through the streets of New Orleans. From the blow of the clarinet and trumpet to the pluck of the fiddle bass and beating the trash-can drums, these Dixie, dancin' jazz cats know how to have fun.

Colorful illustrations bring these hepcats to life, and highlight the details of such memorable surroundings as Preservation Hall, Café du Monde, and Jackson Square. Experience the lively atmosphere, the easygoing people, and the rich heritage of the French Quarter, all from the perspective of a few swingin' jazz cats. They're always ready for a party—and they're in the right town for that!
