«Plenitud» (1918) es una obra de Amado Nervo compuesta por sesenta textos aforísticos a la manera de un libro de máximas o un poemario en prosa. El lirismo de estos textos queda relegado a un segundo plano y, en su lugar, cobran relevancia los temas filosóficos, religiosos y esotéricos.

Amado Nervo (1870-1919) fue un poeta, escritor, periodista y diplomático mexicano. Trabajó como colaborador y corresponsal para periódicos como «El Mundo» o «El Imparcial». Fue secretario en la embajada de México en Madrid y ministro plenipotenciario ante Argentina y Uruguay. Perteneciente al movimiento modernista, destacó por su misticismo y por su poesía melancólica.
