Riverby

"Riverby" is a book written by American naturalist John Burroughs, first published in 1904. It was written at Burroughs' estate of the same name, which is located on the west bank of the Hudson river, in Ulster County, New York. There, he also wrote "Fresh Fields" (1884), "Signs and Seasons" (1886), and "Indoor Studies" (1889). This fantastic volume constitutes a must-read for fans and lovers of nature writing, and it is not to be missed by collectors of Burroughs' seminal work. John Burroughs (1837 - 1921) was an American naturalist, essayist, and active member of the U.S. conservation movement.
