#1 I took my first microdose of LSD today. I had never been a regular drug user, but I had used illegal drugs several times in my life. I was not a fan of the taste of alcohol, and was easily intoxicated. I rarely drank.

#2 I had no idea how to buy drugs, so I began calling my gay male friends, hoping they would know someone who knew someone who knew someone who could help me get LSD. None of them knew anyone who could help me get LSD.

#3 A week after I had met the man, I received a message from him. The possibly mythical professor was sympathetic to my predicament. He would send me LSD. The story seemed preposterous, but two days later, I opened my mailbox to find a brown paper package covered in brightly colored stamps.

#4 I ordered an LSD test kit to make sure that what I was taking was actually LSD and not some toxic substitute. I was not about to consume a drug without testing it first, no matter how cute a note it came with.
