عندما رأت العصافير الصغيرة التى تعيش على الشجرة الكبيرة بجوار المتحف المصرى الثورة التى قام بها الشباب فى يوم 25 يناير قرروا أن يثوروا هم أيضًا ويعرضوا مطالبهم على العصفور الكبير الذى رفض ثورتهم وأخذ شنطته وقرر الرحيل ولكن الأم حاولت إقناعه فرحل، خرجت العصافير الثائرة تتجول لتجرى فوقفت عند كل شباك ووجدت أن كل الأطفال فى المنازل معترضون ويرفضون الذهاب للمدرسة، ويريدون زيادة المصروف فعادت العصافير واجتمعت مع الجدة حتى يصلوا إلى طريقة جديدة للتعايش.
