هذه رسالة كتبها العالم الفذ ابن سينا في علم النفس، وجعلتها ثلاثة فصول: الفصل الأول: في إثبات أن جوهر النفس مُغاير لجوهر البدن. الفصل الثاني: في بقاء النفس بعد فناء البدن. الفصل الثالث: في مراتب النفوس في السعادة والشقاوة بعد مفارقة النفس عن البدن. ثمَّ ألحق بها خاتمة تناول فيها العوالم الثلاثة التي هي عالم العقل، وعالم النفس، وعالم الجسم، وترتيب الوجود من لَدُن الحق الأول إلى أقصى مراتب الموجودات على الترتيب النازل من عنده تعالى.
