"منتخب الكلام في تفسير الأحلام" كتاب منسوب إلى محمد بن سيرين. يقع في تسعة وخمسين باباً تعالج مختلف أنواع الرؤى والأحلام التي يراها الإنسان في النوم، ووظيفتها وطريقة تأويلها ومغزى رموزها وركائزها في اللاشعور. والكتاب شيّق وممتع، ويتسم بالتكرار والاستطراد وبسرد قصص الأحلام التي تخرج أحياناً عن الموضوع الذي يعالجه المؤلف، وعدم تبويب المواد الواردة فيه. وعند تحقيقه عمد المحقق إلى تهذيبه حاذفاً ما ورد في المتن من تكرار واستطراد وروايات وقصص يمكن الاستغناء عنها، دون أن يؤثر ذلك الاختصار على ما جاء في الكتاب من موضوعات، مع ترك العناوين والفصول كما وردت في الأصل فجاء الكتاب بحجم مقبول يمكن لكل إنسان أن يقرأه بسهولة نظراً لحسن إخراجه وتبويبه.
