Description： 本书是杨刚的一部作品集，选录其报告文学集《东南行》中的《万木无声待雨来》《福州行》与散文集《沸腾的梦》中的一些作品，并收录了《辛苦呵，我的祖国》《毛主席和我们在一起》等经典文章。其中《万木无声待雨来》讲述的是1942年秋作者作为《大公报》的战地旅行记者到江西、浙江前线与福建战区采访的经历，展示了东南半壁江山在敌人铁蹄下的血泪图画，记下了敌人的罪行，以及前方军民舍身抗敌的热情和"万木无声待雨来"的渴盼。 本书较为全面地展现了作者时代人们遭受的苦难与军民的革命热情，彰显了作者的爱国精神。 Author Biography： 杨刚(1905—1957年)，原名杨缤，诗人、作家、评论家，祖籍湖北沔阳，生于江西萍乡。1928年至1932年就读于燕京大学英国文学系，1930年加入中国共产党。1931年发起和组织北方"左联"，任宣传部长。1938年任香港《大公报》副刊《文艺》主编，1943年赴美国学习文艺。1944年至1948年，担任《大公报》驻美国特派员，1948年11月，奉命归国,担任天津《大公报》副总编辑、党委书记。同年5月上海解放，任上海《大公报》军代表。次年，调回北京，担任外交部政策研究室主任秘书，同年10月调任周恩来总理办公室秘书。1955年春调任《人民日报》副总编辑。著有《公孙鞅》《桓秀外传》《东南行》《沸腾的梦》等。
