内容简介： 《醒世恒言》是明末冯梦龙纂辑的白话短篇笔记集。始刊于1627年（明天启七年）。其题材或来自民间事实，或来自史传和唐、宋故事。除少数宋元旧作外，绝大多数是明人作品，部分是冯氏拟作。形象鲜明，结构充实完整，描写细腻，不同程度反映了当时的社会面貌和市民思想感情。但有些作品带有封建说教、因果报应宣传和色情渲染。 《醒世恒言》分上、下两册，包括了四十篇故事。在整个宋元话本中有两篇上乘之作，《闹樊楼多情周胜仙》就是其中的一篇，收录在上册中。 作者简介： 冯梦龙（1574 年 —1650 年），字犹龙，明代苏州府长洲县（今江苏省苏州市）人，别号墨憨斋主人、龙子犹等，是中国古代文学家、思想家、戏曲家，与兄冯梦桂、弟冯梦熊并称 "吴下三冯"。
