Honestly, read this because the book cover looks interesting. I really want to like this book but I don't. It's a short read, fable-like story but I'd recommend just to skip this book entirely. As a storybook, it's ok, as a self-help book, it's silly and delusional. The story follows Santiago a shepherd boy ,from a difficult background, in pursuit of his "personal legend".

Worth a listen! It’s guaranteed easier to listen to the concepts and to really think about them!

Delusional and self-fulfilling plot conveniences used to drive a redundant “message” forward. The entire self-help part of this can be summed up as “follow your dreams!” and that’s it. I’m not exaggerating. This is such a waste of time and filled to the brim with naive preachings devoid of any nuance.
