When Nelson, a little dog, is reborn, he finds out that he has forgotten all about his former life and the time he spent on the Other Side after he died. And most importantly he has forgotten all about his beloved human family, the one he came back for in the first place. All he is left with is the distinct feeling that there is something that he should remember. And that he is meant to be somewhere else. But try as he might he just can’t figured out where and why.

Nelson ends up in a country he’s never been to before, and with people he just knows aren’t his family. But what is a dog to do? As irascible and hilarious as he ever was, Nelson navigates the many twists and turns fate throws him, in his own inimitable style. A life full of adventures takes him to different countries and places, while he is desperately trying to get his precious memories back.
