"Omar," the protagonist of the story, moves from Jeddah, a city that grew in his very being, to Asmara, Massawa, Keren, and other cities of the postponed homeland, searching for himself. He meets Samrawit, an Eritrean girl coming from her Parisian exile, and together, they embark on a shared quest for the dream homeland.
