सेवा क्षालयति पापम्

पूर्वस्मिन् जन्मनि उत्पन्नया प्रतीकारभावनया काचित् गर्भवती नर्तकी अग्रिमजन्मनि राजगृहे हारीतिः नामिका यक्षिणी भूत्वा नगरस्थान् बालान् चोरयित्वा खादनम् आरब्धवती । राजा तस्याः बन्धनं कारयित्वा कारागृहे स्थापितवान् । गौतमबुद्धेन तस्याः पुत्रः अपहरणीयः इति राजभटाः आदिष्टाः । तथा कृते हारीतिः पश्चात्तापं अनुभवन्ती पापात् कथं विमुक्तिः प्राप्तव्या इति प्रार्थितवती । (“केन्द्रीयसंस्कृतविश्वविद्यालयस्य अष्टादशीयोजनान्तर्गततया एतासां कथानां ध्वनिप्रक्षेपणं क्रियते”) A dancer in her previous birth, with a desire for revenge, is reborn as yakshini named Haariti.
