As John Ford prepares to head out on a hunting trip, a small town is rocked by fears of a plague. John's hunting trip is cut short when he is attacked by a ghoulish creature, barely escaping with his life. On returning to town, he discovers it to be a ghost town. As the reality of the strange affliction plaguing the town becomes clear, a group of desperate survivors decide to make the most of a bad situation.
