Erik Hersman is the CEO of Gridless, a bitcoin mining company that leverages bitcoin production to make mini grids and last mile energy production economically viable in Africa. Bitcoin has recently set records for transactions. Fees are dramatically higher than they were a few months ago. Ordinals have ballooned to more than a million inscriptions per week. BRC-20 is a primitive token standard that uses ordinals to create a form of Bitcoin-native token. Just a couple months old, the market cap of BRC-20 tokens is over $400m and a great debate rages: is this Bitcoin builder innovation - or a new attack vector on the network?
