UFC 322 Preview Show | Jack Della Maddalena vs. Islam Makhachev Superfight Caps Off UFC's Best Lineup Of 2025

The best pay-per-view event of 2025 is upon us.

This Saturday, UFC 322 goes down at Madison Square Garden in New York City, featuring a promotional first: two champions moving up to challenge for a second title. 

In the main event, Islam Makhachev moves up to 170 pounds to battle Jack Della Maddalena for the welterweight title, and in the co-main event, Zhang Weili jumps to 125 pounds to challenge Valentina Shevchenko for the women's flyweight belt. And No Bets Barred is here to break it all down.

Regardless, Gabriel Bonfim made the most of his first headlining opportunity, shrugging off a controversial decision win over Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson with a brutal second-round knockout of Randy Brown on Saturday. That’s four straight wins now for Bonfim, who eyes a match with Colby Covington as he tries to move closer to a top 10 spot in the always crowded welterweight division.

This time, it was Ante Delija getting knocked out moments after a bout was stopped and then restarted when Delija poked Waldo Cortes-Acosta in the eyes. The controversy threatened to overshadow Steve Garcia’s outstanding win over David Onama in the main event, but regardless, the UFC has two surging contenders in Garcia and Cortes-Acosta, both of whom have unclear paths to a title opportunity.
