The Montane Spine Races feature three extraordinary challenges. The original Winter Spine is a grueling 268-mile ultramarathon across the UK, drawing hundreds of participants, including elite athletes like Jasmin Paris. The Summer Spine follows the same punishing route but takes place in June, offering a unique test of endurance under warmer conditions and extended daylight. Best known as one half of the hilarious Scummy Mummies, Helen isn’t just about the laughs—she’s also a seasoned marathon runner, having conquered eight marathons (with her sights set on ten!).

In this episode, Helen shares her passion for running, why she believes marathons are like childbirth ("you forget the pain!"), and why the Copenhagen Marathon holds a special place in her heart—mainly for the pastries.
