Carla Hayden is the first female and only the 14th Librarian of Congress in history since the Library of Congress was established in 1800. In an episode of "The David Rubenstein Show: Peer to Peer Conversations," she talks about the library's history; how it's evolved into the largest library in the world with 178 million items, as well as the challenges our society faces in the digital world. She also discusses her efforts to make the library and its unique collections more accessible to the public. For many football fans, Roger Goodell is the only NFL Commissioner they’ve known, with the 65-year-old now in his 19th year at the helm of America’s most popular pro sport. In an episode of “The David Rubenstein Show: Peer to Peer Conversations,” Goodell talks about NFL’s international expansion, and that adding an 18th game to the regular season schedule is the “logical” next step for the league. He also discussed the NFL allowing private equity firms to take passive minority stakes in teams. There’s been some fan backlash on this move, but Goodell tried to ease those concerns, saying he doesn’t think he’ll “ever allow institutional [investors] in a controlling position, at least in the foreseeable future.” This interview was recorded January 3 in New York.

president in 2028, as he tried to tone down speculation about his national 
aspirations ahead of his own reelection bid next year. Moore also pledged to 
work with the Trump's administration to find common-sense solutions for 
Maryland, but will also criticize the president when necessary. He appears on

Bank of America Chairman & CEO Brian Moynihan says over-regulation of lenders is the main driver of customers being shut out of the US banking system and not political bias, “We bank everybody. The real question was about over-regulation frankly,” he said in an interview on "The David Rubenstein Show: Peer to Peer Conversations." This as President Trump publicly rebuked Moynihan at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, accusing the bank of limiting business with certain clients. Moynihan also talked about his inflation expectations, working with the current administration and the company being a bank of opportunity. Former US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said he likes the idea of an across-the-board 10% duty, but markets need clarity and understanding.
