Episode 1: Meet the Team

Royse City, Texas is a small, rural community just east of Dallas. Dennis and Norma Woodruff are found brutally murdered in their own home. On this episode, Hilarie and the team begin to unpack this case - you’ll hear about the town of Royse City, as well as what the Woodruff family’s lives were like before the unfortunate events in October.

Law enforcement descends upon the house of Dennis and Norma Woodruff - and makes a bizarre choice to document the grisly scene. Hilarie, Dan, Po, and Andrew will discuss the bizarre choice made by law enforcement as well as the evidence discovered at the scene of the crime.

Episode 3: The Crime Scene

This week we are diving into the calls law enforcement receives pointing the finger at Norma and Dennis Woodruff’s son, Brandon. But the accusations come before the community even knew a murder happened. How can this be? What is the basis of the accusations and do they have any merit? Hilarie and the team will also be exploring the investigator’s first interviews with Brandon and his sister Charla.

After pursuing the evidence Lee Denney still isn’t convinced that Christian Griggs was shot in self-defense. He attempts to bring this information to the DA, but gets nowhere. But Lee isn’t alone in questioning the Chishenhall’s narrative - WRAL the local TV station in Angier begin to question the events of October 12, 2013.
