Erin at 2 Hearts Rescue helped her friend Avery "hook up" with Tanner to have him haul her new horse back from the mustang adoption event. She's not in the market for a relationship, especially not with a cowboy, but when he comes back to check on the horse, she starts to change her mind.

Tanner didn't mind helping out a friend of a friend, but as soon as he meets Avery, he suddenly wants more than friendship. That she adopted a spitfire mustang colt she's going to need help with didn't hurt, and when he is in the right place at the right time to save them both, he truly does come to her rescue. But once the danger's past, will she still want a cowboy in her life?

Cowboy To The Rescue

Delaney rescued Captain, a big bay off the track Thoroughbred gelding, from an auction. The skinny horse needed lots of love and a good feeding and training program to return him to his full glory. That's no problem for the experienced rescuerer, though she'd like to find someone to put the first rides on him when he's ready. Erin, the owner of 2 Hearts Rescue South, suggests Tanner's brother, Johnny. Delaney isn't looking for a new man in her life--just someone to ride her horse.

Johnny has no problem putting a few rides on the rescued Thoroughbred, especially since he's learned a lot about 2 Hearts Rescue since his brother hooked up with Avery. When he meets Delaney, sparks fly. He'll ride her horse, and in the meantime, he'll try to convince her that she needs two new men in her life. Captain and him.

The Cowboy and Captain's Lady

A chance encounter led Simone to foster Muffins, a very pregnant stray cat. When she drops off some donations at the Feline Unit for 2 Hearts Rescue, she never imagines that she'll find Wyatt, an old flame there. Something about Muffins is stirring her own, long-buried maternal instincts, and Simone longs to be a family. But will her inability to have kids turn off Wyatt? And will he want a ready-made family where kitty makes three?

Pleasantly surprised by seeing Simone at 2 Hearts Rescue, Wyatt longs to rekindle their steamy romance. He's ready to settle down--with Simone. It's up to him to convince her that any family with her is purrfect.

You, Me and Muffins
