74 वर्षांची परंपरा असलेल्या साधना साप्ताहिकाच्या वतीने मागील 14 वर्षांपासून दरवर्षी बालकुमार दिवाळी अंक प्रकाशित केला जातो. हा अंक जरी 10 ते 15 वर्षे वयोगट समोर ठेवून काढला जात असला तरी पालक, शिक्षक आणि वाचनाची सवय असलेल्या कोणालाही आवडतो. गेली काही वर्षे हा अंक विशिष्ट थीम घेऊन काढला जातो. या वर्षीच्या अंकाची थीम आहे चार देशांतील सहा चित्रपट. हे चित्रपट मुलांना पाहायला आवडतील व समजतील असे आहेत, या चित्रपटांच्या केंद्रस्थानी बाल व कुमार वयोगटातील मुले-मुली आहेत, पण हे बालचित्रपट नाहीत. त्यातून त्या मुला-मुलींचे भावविश्व प्रकट होते आणि त्यांच्या दृष्टीतून सभोवतालाचे दर्शनही घडते. हे सहा लेख वाचणाऱ्या लहान-मोठ्यांच्या मनात मूळ चित्रपट पाहण्याची इच्छा तीव्र होईल, एवढेच नाही तर आपल्या सभोवतालाकडे अधिक सजगपणे व संवेदनशीलपणे पाहण्याची दृष्टी मिळेल.

Balkumar is one of the most important part of Weekly Sadhana having legacy of 74 years. For last 14 years we are publishing Balkumar magazine for students. The issue is published Keeping in mind the age group of 10- 15 years, but it also proves to be resourceful for Teachers, Parents, and the bibliophiles. Every year the issue is produced considering the theme. This year the theme is '6 cinemas from 4 countries'. These films will be a great treat for students to watch, at the same time providing a broader view about other countries, people and culture. The protagonist of all the films are more or less of children's age groups. These films may not be children oriented but it definitely introduce you to their world of emotions, how they think, what they feel. The reviews of all 6 movies will create curiosity to watch them. It will also bring in you the awareness and sensitivity for people or situations around you.
