Valmiki Ramayanam (Aranya Kanda)-వాల్మీకి రామాయణం (అరణ్య కాండ)

రామాయణం ఆదికావ్యం గా పిలవబడుతుంది. వాల్మీకి మహర్షి రచించిన ఈ ఆది కావ్యాన్ని రచయిత శ్రీపాద సుబ్రహ్మణ్యశాస్త్రి గారు వాల్మీకి ఏకాండకు ఆకాండ తెలుగులో వచనానువాదం చేశారు. అందులో మూడవది అరణ్య కాండ. అరణ్య కాండ రాముడి వనవాసం చుట్టూ ఉంటుంది. రాముడు మున్యాశ్రమం చేరడం, పంచవటి కి తరలడం, లక్ష్మణుడు శూర్చణఖ ముక్కూ చెవులూ కొయ్యడం, రావణుడు మారీచుణ్ణి మాయలేడి కమ్మనడం నుంచి రావణుడు సీతని అపహరించడం, పంపాసరస్సు చేరుకోవడం మొదలగు అంశాలు ఇందులో చక్కగా వివరించారు శ్రీపాద వారు. Ramayana is one of the greatest epics, ascribed to the Maharishi Valmiki, narrates the life of Rama, a legendary prince of Ayodhya city in the kingdom of Kosala. The holy scripture was translated into Telugu by Sripada Subrahmanya Sastry. Sripada translated all Khandas (parts) in Telugu in his style. The third one is Aranya Khanda. In this part, Sri Rama reaches the forest and approaches Panchavati. Lakshmana cuts the ears and nose of Surphanaka and Ravana enters to abduct Sita.
