According to a 2018 report compiled by Brigham and Women’s Hospital and published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, active shooters armed with any kind of semiautomatic rifle are likely to kill or wound nearly twice as many people as killers armed with firearms that fire off fewer rounds before needing to be reloaded.

#4 America is not the only country with a high rate of gun ownership, and we are not the only nation with a history of using guns to protect ourselves.
