8. THE DESERTERS - SAHARA DESERT SERIES

Deep in the merciless heart of the Sahara, at the remote Fort Ney and scorching heat, the sadistic Sergeant Duparne oppress the men of the French Foreign Legion. Caught between saving the fort and the Bormoen’s revenge, Joos must make an almost impossible choice. His leadership is tested to the extreme as he devises a desperate, life-threatening plan to save not only his men but perhaps even the unsuspecting Fort Ney from certain doom.
